Avengers
The Avengers is an elite team of super heroes that keeps the world safe. The people that make up the Avengers is: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk. These people are the toughest, most elite, and unstoppable when it comes to fighting bad guys. The avengers helped save the world when Thanos’ warriors came to threaten mankind. Thors brother, Loki, lead the attack of the shatari, however, the attack proved useless because the avengers were able to close the portal and kill all of the shatari. The U.S army wanted to send a nuke on New York and just destroy New York; however when the bomb was dropped Iron Man caught the nuke and flew it up into space to destroy their space craft. When he did this the space craft got destroyed and all of the shatari on earth were killed. Black Widow closed the portal while Iron Man was still in space. However, Iron Man was falling fast enough that he barely made it back to earth in time. The Avengers saved the world!
For show and tell I brought in a signed Reggie Jackson baseball and a signed Yogi Berra baseball.I was not expecting to ever receive any sort of been signed by either of these two legendary baseball players, Reggie Jackson and Yogi Berra. At the time I got them I just heard the news that my grandma’s boyfriends son had just passed away. I never knew the man, but it was obviously sad to lose someone that was close to you. The baseballs he gave me were meant to go to his son that he had lost. Having the baseballs in my room remind me of the words that he told me on that day I received them, “Anthony these were meant to go to my son, and I always thought that you would do amazing things just like I thought he would” (Rich). This moment touch me smack dab in the heart. It was a honor to here this from a great man. When he passed away a year ago it touched me. It’s sad to say that I only have two days to remember them by, the reggie Jackson signed baseball and Yogi Berra signed baseball.
Leadership, leadership is a quality that only certain people have. You hear people talk about being a natural born leader, and that is really what it is. Being able to show his physical demonstration on what to do, or even just following orders in letting people see what you do without telling them that is being a leader. I have had role models in my life that I knew were leaders. And all you know what to do is just to follow them, because you know that what they are doing is always a good thing to do. In baseball there is a player that’s nickname is the captain his name is Derek Jeter. Everyone calls him the captain because he was always such a good role model to people and always show character, emotion, and power on the field and off. People like that are the people you want to follow and do you want to make your friends. However, there are good captains there can also be bad captains those people are the ones will take you down the wrong path and ruin your life. I would not call myself a captain although I may make some tough decisions that can either make a situation or break a situation it is more of a situation that you need someone to step up. The captain is always a leader not just someone that will step up every once in a while.

Writing the Mauntauk poem really helped me realize how much my family was in mt]y life growing up. How much they have helped me and have pushed me to be the best that I can be. I am thankful for all the things that they have done to help me along the way. Making me continue to play baseball throughout high school and when I was younger allowed me to grow as a young man and really has formed me to become the person I am today. I am super thankful to say that my parents have helped me so much to get where I need to be, and even allowed me to get an offer from Franklin College to play baseball. If they never pushed me to continue playing baseball I don’t know where my life would’ve ended up. Baseball has given me a meaning in life and has allowed me to make many new friendships that I will cherish forever. Nothing compares to the fact that family is everything which I will carry from this day forward, because of Montauk I have realized this and it opened my eyes to the real world.
Video Games
When the coronavirus started I did not think that it was a big deal. I took it for granted until Center Grove started following the precautions of the governor and we no longer had school. Without school we cannot play baseball, which is all I ever did. Once baseball was over all me and all the baseball guys did was play video games. It started off playing for fortnite We would go to each other’s houses and play for hours from 10 PM till 8 AM. It was insane causing me to sleep from nine until six at night it drained my energy, however it was fun to hang out with all my friends, since we were not on the baseball field. After fortnight we would play war zone which is what I am playing now. Warzone is very fun it is a first person shooting game that allows me to meet new people online and talk to my friends that are in my squad.
I have definitely gotten less productive with my time. Having all of this free time, I have been taking major time to give my body a break from stress. Enjoying the free time the world has given me. Before this pandemic started my life was go go go. Now with what has happened everything has stopped. From about 12 am till 4 am I will be playing fort nite with all my friends. We usually can win a bunch of games even if 1 person is slacking, however last night we had a bad night only getting one victory royal. During the afternoon my parents want me to help around the house with as many chores as I can do. Which kind of sucks but I mean it is better than school, so that is nice. My family started a new project outside, well I guess it is kind of 2 projects. First we want to move the fence in our back yard, farther back to give us more room for activities (hopefully you know where that quote is from)! To start that I had to go and move our garden which was not easy. I had to move the cinder blocks that were holding the mulch in place and then shovel all of the mulch to even the ground out. In a couple of days or so we are going to knock out fence down and put up a new one about 10-15 feet back. After that is finished we are going to start painting the fence a different color. My parents want to do this because the old paint has started to fade and is not looking the best anymore. Overall it is way more difficult to stay focused on things, but I am managing, trying to give myself a decent schedule to go off of and stay occupied.
Baseball, I do play
I play it everyday
I hit the ball very hard
It goes a far, far way
The ball keeps flying
Over the fence, the scoreboard, the road
Until I could not see it no more
The crowd was roaring
I could barely hear myself yell
I rounded first, the coach gave me a slap
Rounded second, short looked sad
Hit third, and the coach jumped in the air
On my way to home
I threw my helmet off
The team was yelling and screaming
I jumped on home and the game was over
The team was really happy
We celebrated for hours,
On the way home I saw a baseball on the road
Could it be?
It was, my home-run ball
My ball, the walk-off baseball
Once upon a time, four knights had to go recover a magical object; the magical dream-sickle, from a mysterious land. The four knights had to go recover this object to help the king sleep, because he was not able to sleep. On the 20th of October the four knights began their quest for the king. They passed McHill, Taco Fall, and even the Crew Caboodles, who were cannibals. Once they reached the mysterious land, it was quiet and run down; the four knights were looking around for the magical dream-sickle. These pigs chased after them for many miles, until the pigs realized that the knights could not be caught up to. When the knights realized they were free, it disappointed all of them that they weren’t able to retrieve the magical dream-sickle for the king. Then Sir Anthony looked up and saw it, the giant, magnificent, magical dream-sickle. The knights knew they needed to retrieve the dream-sickle, however it was bigger and heavier than the knights thought. The dream-sickle had to be brought back to the king said the knights. So Sir Alex thought of a genius idea; his idea was to drag the dream-sickle back to the king. Once the knights made it back to the castle, the whole kingdom treated them with respect. After the citizens greeted the knights, the 4 knights carried the magical dream-sickle up to the king. When King Big Dawg saw the knights he thanked Sir Alex, Sir Drew, Sir Bryce, and Sir Anthony. Queen Sue Dawg and Prince Bull Dawg were enthusiastic that their King will be able to sleep. Subsequently, the knights left the room; the king had the best night’s sleep of his life. In the morning, King Big Dawg threw a celebration for Sir Alex, Sir Drew, Sir Bryce, and Sir Anthony. This celebration gave the knights the honor they earned from all the men and women in the kingdom. As time passed citizens of the kingdom would request the knights to go on missions for special ruins in miscellaneous places. When the King found out that the knights went on a mission that wasn’t for him, he was not too happy. However, the knights kept getting asked to go on missions, and the knights never turned down a mission— the knights saw them as fun. The knights kept going on secret missions leading them to a perfect record of 6 for 6, making them known around the realm.
Hello, I am a senior in high school. After I graduate I will be attending Franklin College and studying actuarial sciences. Other than being a senior at the high school I also participate in baseball. I have been playing baseball since I was eight years old. When I was younger, from like 8 to 11 years old I played 3rd base. However, I tried out catching when I was 12 and I loved it so much I have been catching ever since. I play for the high school as a catcher and I am committed to Franklin College to play baseball. Other than playing sports in high school I am also in the early college program which allows to get college credits with out paying the full price of college. The plan is to have 57 college credits when I graduate high school which will help me save a lot of money. At home I have an older sister who is 23, lives in Carmel, and has a boyfriend named Blair. I also have a younger brother who is 15, attends Center Grove High School, and does not play sports. Not only do I have siblings, I also a mom and a dad. My mom’s name is Susan and my dad’s name is Michael, but he goes by Mike. My mom’s family is from New Jersey, so I get to go to New Jersey a lot in the summer and on breaks. My dad’s family is from Coatesville, IN. That is only 1 hour away from Center Grove. When I am not at school, I am usually doing something baseball related, such as hitting or throwing. However if I’m not doing baseball stuff then I am with my friends having some fun. On Saturday’s I have work which is on 96th street. So I have to leave around 8:15 in order to get there by 9. I do not get off work until 6 which feels like the longest 9 hours ever. Now that you know some about me, hopefully I can get to know some things about you.
